Purpose
The NetHub Research pre-acceleration program provides individualized support to researchers in developing innovations based on research in the fields of biomedicine and healthcare with the potential for commercialization.
Mentoring Package
The program’s mentoring package includes support for users in designing and conducting research, which encompasses advisory services and access to NetHub Accelerator’s wide network of mentors and experts.
Benefits
Teams will develop innovative solutions based on scientific research work in biomedicine and healthcare. The program will be fully adapted to the maturity level of the research idea, specifically its Technology Readiness Level (TRL). Participation in the pre-acceleration program will stimulate the development of innovations with commercialization potential.
Teams
Three to six selected teams will participate in the NetHub Research pre-acceleration program, developing innovations in biomedicine and healthcare. To ensure commitment and continuous development of the innovative solution, each team must designate at least one person to be fully dedicated to the program. Teams applying for the program must have a clearly defined research idea in the relevant subject areas.
Application Process
Applications are accepted until May 5, 2023, and the selected applicants will be announced on May 15, 2023.
Awards
The work with the best teams does not end with the Demo Day; it continues with entry into NetHub Accelerator’s individual acceleration program, which provides mentoring, networking, and access to funding for further innovation development.
Timeline
The NetHub Research program, starting in May 2023, will last for a total of nine months, and all activities will take place according to an individualized schedule created in collaboration with the selected teams.
Demo Day
The program’s finale, Demo Day, will be held in January 2024. All teams will pitch their innovative ideas to the NetHub Accelerator expert jury, consisting of leading experts in the field of healthcare innovation.
