From October 25 to 29, 2021, workshops were held in Poreč focusing on the implementation of standardized consulting services for startup entrepreneurs. The event hosted over 70 representatives from various entrepreneurial support institutions (PPIs) and members of the Network of Entrepreneurial Support Institutions – BOND Network. The workshops were jointly organized by the BOND Network and the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation, and Investment (HAMAG-BICRO).

The training was based on the “Handbook for Consulting Startup Entrepreneurs,” developed between 2017 and 2019 during the first phase of the project “Development of the Network of Entrepreneurial Support Institutions (PPI) via HAMAG-BICRO.” This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014–2020.
These Poreč workshops were held as part of the second phase of the aforementioned project. The overall objective is to increase entrepreneurial activity by creating a favorable business environment in the Republic of Croatia, ensuring stable growth and development for the entire economy.
The workshops were divided into eight thematic modules: The Entrepreneur and the Idea, Market Research, From Idea to Market, Marketing and Sales, Financial Planning and Management, Legal Framework, and Business Operations and Activities. They were led by experts with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and working directly with business owners.
By the end of this year, further thematic workshops in several different fields are planned, distributed across regions and held in various Croatian cities.
